Lessons from a dog

For today, I think I would just like to share something I learned from a friend on FB.  His name is Andy, and while Andy is NOT a dog (as the title of this blog entry may lead you to believe) - the title is so named because what I want to share with you (that I learned from him) is what he learned from a dog. Hence - the title, get it? :)

So here goes, from Andy:

There are three things I learnt from a dog.
A dog never looks back. Sometimes a dog makes a mistake. Bitten a shoe, soiled the carpet... You get cross on occasion. When that happens, he hangs his head. He's ashamed. And then, five minutes later, it's done. All that matters is now and what's to come.

A dog never knows his size. He doesn't care if another dog is double his size. He goes for him anyway.
In his head he's top dog. The boss. And that is all that counts.

A dog never gives up when he wants something. He barks. He hangs on. He keeps going until he gets what he wants. Doesn't matter how hard... how hopeless it looks.

There are three things I learnt from a dog.
1. Never look back.
2. Never think yourself so small and insignificant nothing matters. And
3. Never give up.

Good lesson, right?  My add to it is the following:

Peace,
Syl

p/s I may be back later today with some other things in my head - experiences from yesterday - but I am still processing them at the moment. Stay tuned ...
